Folio 198: Weymouth to Stormont. He is to find out France's reactions to the probable outbreak of war between Turkey and Russia. In view of unfriendly actions towards Britain by Prussia, he is to find out if possible what was discussed between the Prussian ministerand Maurepas and Vergennes. He encloses a copy of a caution given to Prussia's trading subjects. The emperor of Morocco has sent Taher Feniz to be ambassador to France. Stormont is to show him `such civilities as may be acceptable to him'.
