Folio 89: Weymouth to Stormont. Though it seems impossible not to believe the repeated assurances that no ships of the line would be sent to the West Indies, he is to inform Maurepas and Vergennes about the report in f.43 concerning Sartine and ask for the matter to be put beyond doubt. He has been told that Du Chaffault's squadron is actually at sea.
