Folio 71: Barton to Stormont. There are at least 8 vessels loading commodities for the rebels under Dutch colours and clearing for St Eustatia. The Dutch consul is acting as a cloak. Barton reports the seizure of an Irish brig by 2 rebel privateers in the river.
Date and place: 1777 Nov 15 Bordeaux.
