Folio 15: Stormont to Weymouth. He gives the general outline of the Spanish Portuguese Treaty. Spain returns St. Catherine's Island, Portugal relinquishes all claims to Colonia Nova and to everything on that side of the river Pardo, while the whole river is to belong to Portugal. Britain's enemies see this as damaging her contraband trade. Noailles and Sartine both report the commissioning by Britain of 13 ships of the line. On the death of cardinal Rocheaymont, the post of grand almoner of France goes to prince Louis de Rohan, who will be made a cardinal by the king of Poland's nomination.
