Folio 233: Stormont to Weymouth. He does not wish to undertake secret service work unless particularly ordered to do so. He has opened a new intelligence source, a person to be called Mr Thomas, of English extraction, born in Switzerland. His rewards should be related to the value of the intelligence he provides. That in f.235 is from him. The friend mentioned in f.229 is a Mr Forth. Vergennes has invited him to call on him also.
