Folio 156: Stormont to Weymouth. He discussed with Vergennes differing versions of an affray in Cherbourg, when all the English sailors were put in prison and all the Americans went free. He encloses f.158. Sartine denies that Deane went to Le Havre to fit out vessels, stating that the Victory at Bordeaux was not fully armed.
