Folio 175: Stormont to Weymouth. The king received the French and Swiss guards yesterday. In the evening the opera Castor and Pollux was performed in the great theatre at Versailles for count Falkenstein. Artois is to visit Havre de Grâce, Brest and Bordeaux and call for a day or two at Chanteloup on his return. Monsieur is to visit French Flanders. Falkenstein will stay until after Whitsun and then return to Germany via Lyon after a tour of Normandy, Brittany and all southern provinces. He is much admired.
