Folios 368-375: Memorial given in by Taboureau. A political point of view about Corsica. After outlining its history from pre-Roman times, it concludes that no other continental power is suitable to possess it. It describes the economic and strategic advantages and warns of English ambitions in the Mediterranean. Under French rule the island is more peaceful and prosperous than for a long time and should not be given up.
