Folio 354: Le sieur Bourelly, commander of the ship Double Louis seized by the corvette Weazle, to Noailles and delivered to Suffolk [secretary, northern department]. En route from St. Domingo to St. Pierre, he was nearly wrecked in a storm and towed into New England by an American ship. There his cargo of sugar and provisions was saved and sold. One his return to St. Domingo, he was intercepted by the British corvette Weazle, his vessel seized and taken to Sheerness. His papers were taken from him and he was treated very badly.
