Folio 189: Stormont to Weymouth. Prince Montbarré has been declared reversionary to St. Germain with the brevet rank of secretary of state. St. Germain will soon retire with honour but having alienated the nobility and the nation at large. His successor will have to make great alterations to the plan. Stormont speculates on Necker's plans and likelyhood of success. He is on indifferent terms with Taboureau and the Parlement and magistrates are hostile.
