Folio 384: Le comte d'Argout, governor general of Martinique to vice-admiral James Young. He notifies his appointment to succeed Nozières. He will strive to maintain good relations between their two countries. He encloses f.385 sent to Nozières by Begorat, stating that he never procured arms or powder for the rebels. Argout promises to prohibit any trading in arms with the American rebels.
