Folio 185: St. Paul to Weymouth. Versailles is fuller than ever with cabals and intrigues. The queen plans to bring back Choiseul. Clugny and Sartine are devoted to him. He relates rumours of possible changes and writes of the queen's growing involvement and the influence of Austria through her rather than Mercy. The duke of Richmond was presented as a French duke.
