Folio 148: Stormont to Weymouth. The Parlement passed only one edict [f.150 enclosed]. They refused to register the other 6. Remonstrances are being prepared. It seems almost certain that only by the compulsion of a lit de justice will they be registered. If they are not, Turgot is bound to fall. Everyone is against him. He has nothing to support him, except the rectitude of his views and the king's high opinion of him.
