Folio 119: Stormont to Weymouth. More information about the fleet preparing for exercises, said to consist of 3 ships of the line, 6 large frigates and 7 xebecs. The duc de Chârtres will be on the Amphion, commanded by La Motte-piquet. Bouganville will command one of the other two ships of the line. The xebecs are designed for the Mediterranean but the other ships may exercise separately. He refers to active French recruiting, to support St. Germain's plan. He encloses f.121.
