Folio 74: Stormont to Weymouth. He asks approval for waiting for Vergennes to raise the question of Newfoundland first. Meanwhile Garnier, who is close to Vergennes, will have arrived in London. He recommends the merits of waiting till summer, if in the meantime care is taken to prevent any interruption to the French fisheries.
