Folio 272: Frazer to Weymouth. He will send particulars of the gratuities disbursed to the barrack-master and fishermen, who assisted in the saving of the Briton [see f.197], with his own annual bill for contingent expenses. He is convinced that a brig, the Charming Peggy, which declared herself from Londonderry, is really from America and that she is loading gun-powder in the port. He gives a description of her.
Date and place: 1775 Dec 29 Dunkirk.
