Folio 258: Stormont to Weymouth. He has more relaible intelligence from Brest. The arming is of only 4 ships of the line and 1 frigate bound for the Isle de Bourbon and Isle de France and Pondicherry. They will carry new governors for these three places, also war materials. The report of rations was correct but they were to provision the Isle de France [see f.250].
