Folio 213: Stormont to Weymouth. He expressed regret to Vergennes for the treatment of the Louis le Fortuné. He encloses ff.219, 221. He gives details of St. Germain's plans for the reorganisation of the army, which include a reduction in the Maison du Roi [Household troops], reductions in some units, the move of the Ecole Militaire to La Flêche and the move of the Invalides to the country, while the H"tel des Invalides becomes a hospital. These changes will provide money for an increase in the strength of the army of 30,000 men. He reflects on the proposals. The king of Prussia is dangerously ill, supposedly from dropsy.
