Folio 211: Stormont to Weymouth. He reports the opening of mines in Spain by a French company, the king of Spain receiving 20% of the profits, with the help of Saxon miners. The mine at Guadalcanal has produced so rich a vein of silver as to equal that at Potosi. The agreement is to last for 40 years.
