Folio 97: Stormont to Rochford. Maurepas bas been ill. If he died, the queen would try to obtain the recall of Choiseul. But Maurepas is recovering. Turgot's position is precarious. The Parlement will oppose the abolition of the corvée and of the guilds, in order to free trade. He refers to Turgot's integrity, unworldliness and stiffness.
