Folio 80: St. Paul to Rochford. He comments on the resolution to deal with the American rebels shown in the King's Speech, Maurepas is put out at Turgot obtaining the superintendence of posts. The appointment of St. Germain is popular with officers from maréchaux de camp downwards but not with the generals.
