Folio 59: St. Paul to Rochford. Vergennes said that Aiguillon remembered nothing about the discussions about Dunkirk and that he, Vergennes, had had no time to study the documents concerning the quay. He could not order the suspension of the work until he had referred the matter to the king. Vergennes had no time to study the documents until after the coronation.
