Folio 218: O'Hara to Le Brasseur. He regrets the incident at Albreda but must hear from McNamara. He believes the fault lies with the Frenchman in buying the dinghy from a negro, as he must have known it had been stolen from a white man. He rejects Le Brasseur's claim about Portendie.
