Folio 70: Rochford to Stormont. He is to find out the etiquette to be observed at the king's coronation. If any precedence is given to the family ambassadors or any others except that of the emperor, who is primus inter pares, which would be incompatible with the position of the king's ambassador, he may be instructed not to contest these but to find a suitable reason for not attending. He is to explain to Guines that the commissioners of customs never have issued a certificate of regularity. Rochford will try and prevent Mr. Salvador from publishing some answer to a reference to him in Guines' memoire.
