Folio 229: Stormont to Rochford. The archbishop of Tours has become archbishop of Cambrai, to the mortification of the Rohan family, who wanted the archbishop of Bordeaux. He refers to the exchange of ministers by Prussia and Sardinia. Neither Sardinia nor Venice have approached France [see f.204]. In Russia Repnin is to become chancellor with Panin's consent and the support of Potemkin. Austria is concerned at Moldavia and Wallachia being under Russian protection.
