Folio 222: Stormont to Rochford. He is pleased at the news from the Carnatic but his informant says that the Chevalier plan is still being pressed by Boynes. Prince Henry of Prussia is to visit the empress of Russia. His last visit preceded the partition of Poland.The king of Sweden will not after all visit Petersburg. Sweden's defence preparations continue, helped it is thought, by French money.
