Folio 93: Stormont to Rochford. He regrets that Russia may accept French mediation. His information is that France is losing ground in Petersburg. He will watch Baratinski. Aiguillon is said to be conferring with the princes of the blood about the old Parlement and to be trying to undo the work of the chancellor. The Parlement is making itself ridiculous and has been ridiculed by Beaumarchais. Another new Parlement may be formed with Malesherbes as chancellor.
