Folio 76: Stormont to Rochford. Monteynard has been dismissed. Aiguillon succeeds him ad interim. He and Aranda are pleased at remarks made in Parliament by lord North about the Falklands. Aiguillon's remaining aim is to remove the chancellor, leaving him in a position of power unrivalled for many years. The new Parlement is held in contempt.
