Folio 54: Stormont to Rochford. Aiguillon said the alterations at Dunkirk were so trifling as to deserve no attention. The work would in fact benefit British trade and posed no threat. Stormont replied that the real issue was whether it infringed treaties. They studied these. Aiguillon asked to test the case by the Treaty of the Hague of 1717. Encloses f.60.
