Folio 72: St. Paul to Rochford. He enlarges on the end of f.63. Aiguillon refused to suspend work at Dunkirk but agreed not to send a French engineer to confer with Bramham. St. Paul believes he is sincere in wanting peace and his determination to abide by the treaties but he did not accept that the repairs at the land end of the quay were in the harbour area. He referred to pressure from Spain [on France].
