Folio 153: Durnford to Rochford. Reports on work on the new quay and its effect on the harbour. A slip is being built in order to build a new West India ship. Repairs are going forward at the canal of Furnes. Several regiments in the neighbourhood are to change garrisons but no change at Dunkirk.
Date and place: 1773 Aug 31 Dunkirk.
