Folio 175: Stormont to Rochford. Encloses f.178, intelligence from a source in Toulon, which gives strong proof of Aiguillon's duplicity. It was previous to any orders that could have reached Toulon after the arrival of the satisfactory news from Sweden. Stormont believes that, although the arming of ships really has been countermanded and since the sailors have not been dismissed, France may have designs, assisted by Spain to attack the Russian squadron. He does not believe the Danish fleet will enter the Mediterranean.
