Description

Folio 169: Rochford to Stormont. In view of the unequivocal assurance by Aiguillon of the total cessation of arming, there will be no more delay in executing orders for Britain to reduce her naval forces to the state prior to April 21st. As the duchess of Gloucester is near her delivery, the king has ordered the archbishop of Canterbury, the lord Chancellor and the bishop of London to enquire into the legality of H.R.H. the duke's marriage as well as that of H.R.H. the duke of Cumberland.
