Folio 148: Stormont to Rochford. Encloses f.151, having approached Aiguillon about the payment for maintenance of prisoners of war in India. Aiguillon presented a memorial agreeing to payment to the British company according to the terms of the cartel of Ecluse. But he made counter-claims for British prisoners of war and for the destruction of the ditch at Chandernagore and other matters. He refers to a monsieur Berthoud, the famous watch-maker.
