Folio 52: St. Paul to Rochford. The Prussian minister has denied Prussian designs on Swedish Pomerania. Rumours are being spread that France and England will co-operate in defending Sweden. France is said to be sending 12,000 men there. The controller general is to squeeze more money for the king from past investors in the farmers general and to raise the farmers general `contributions'.
