Folio 320: Rochford to Blaquiere. The English were at fault in opposing French fishing in the bay of Bonavista. French rights begin at Cape Bonavista and follow the coast northwards round to Point Riche. He has instructed lord Dartmouth, secretary of state for the American department, to write to commodore Shuldham, ordering compensation. He encloses acknowledgement from the king of the letter from Condé notifying the birth of a prince.
