Folio 236: The controller general to Blaquiere. In conformity with previous decrees by the Conseil d'Etat, which he refers to here, the drawing of numbers for the payment of the [Canada] reconnaissances belonging to those [British] proprietors on the agreed list will take place this month. Proprietors, whose names are not on the list, will be given their due but not paid till the last payment.
Date and place: 1772 Mar 16 Versailles.
