Folio 160: Rochford to Harcourt. He comments on the report [about the treaty of commerce between France, Spain and Portugal]. He is to inform Aiguillon that, if reports of French intentions in the East Indies are true, Britain will have to reinforce her defences there. Any French moves against the Russians in the Archipelago will be regarded with concern.
