Folio 152: Harcourt to [Rochford]. The squadron of 8 ships is to exercise the seamen in the Mediterranean or keep an eye on the Russians in the Archipelago. He quotes an account dated February 25th. Boynes has just received letters from Pondicherry from Law, askingfor European troops, because English moves are causing anxiety. Troops are on the way.
