Folio 326: Blaquiere to Rochford. He gives two pieces of unofficial intelligence obtained mainly from Harcourt's man. Ternay has orders, on arrival in the Isle de France, to embark the Legion de Bourbon of 3,000 men for Pondicherry. The new governor of Goree is setting out with a force of six frigates to establish a settlement on the gum coast. The diplomatic corps, lead by Merci, is protesting to Aiguillon at a breach of privilege, when baron de Wreyk [von Wreech], the Hessian minister, was refused a passport, on account of debt, and an exploit [writ] was served on him.
