Folio 320: Note sent by Aiguillon to Blaquiere under blank cover. It refers to an expedition by the Spaniards against the Indians in the gulf of Darien. The English are said to have made a map showing Darien and part of Campeche as belonging to them. A [Spanish] detachment sent from Panama to outflank the Indians from Darien was blocked by a fort built by the English on the river St. Jean. The English are dealing openly in contraband in Cuba, with merchant ships supported by warships.
