Folio 156: Frazer to Rochford. He reports that the comte de Muy, lieutenant general and commanding officer in French Flanders - one of the three directors general appointed to inspect the frontiers of France, the comte de Mailly the fortresses of Franche Comté, Dauphiné and Provence, the comte d'Hérouville from the frontier of Spain along the coast to Calais and de Muy from Strasbourg to Dunkirk - has arrived in Dunkirk. At Frazer's request, he readily agreed to the removal of the guns mounted during the danger from the plague, which is now over. The repairs to the sluice of Furnes are completed, in strict accordance with f.13. Date and place: 1771 Oct 4 Dunkirk
