Folio 240: Harcourt to [Rochford]. Encloses f. 242, 244. Illicit French trading in Portugal has proved damaging to the whole French trade with Portugal, particularly the weaving industry in Lyon. This may well benefit British trade. Pernon, from Lyon, is known to Rochford and hopes Rochford will help.
