Folio 41: Rochford to Harcourt. He regrets that he did not approach La Vrillière about the Canada business and restates the case resting on article 1 of the convention. If the question of disarming is raised, he must insist that Spain begins first. Some [British] preparations not far advanced will be cancelled.
