Folio 211: Harcourt to Weymouth. Reports on his journey and arrival. The king goes to Choisy before settling at Versailles for the winter. He believes in the desire for peace of Choiseul and the king. He has assured Choiseul that the [English] king's speech was notwarlike, but Choiseul looked upon it as `a declaration of war'. Frances agreed with Harcourt. More information about troops in Brittany. Guines has set out.
