Folio 236: Frazer to Weymouth. He has agreed to a request from the chamber of commerce to agree to the raising of the bed of the cut (coupure) in the west jetty to the level of the strand, as permitted by treaty. Mr. Gordon, British minister in Brussels, can witness to the foundations having sunk below the permitted level.
