Folio 47: Harcourt to Weymouth. Châtelet, who reported to Choiseul on the debate in the House of Commons on the state of the nation, seems so well briefed about the proceedings of Parliament as to suggest that some M.P. informs him. Choiseul still hopes that the British owners of Canada paper will be paid in 1771, in spite of a letter to the contrary from the controller general.
