Folio 35: Proceedings of the Compagnie des Indes. It was decided by a majority to re-establish its exclusive trading privilege. The king owed the company about 13 million and, with assets (meaning ships) to the value of 12 million, a fund could be formed of 25 million, with preferential interest of 4%, to be sold in lots. This item was adjourned. The freedom of commerce would continue till December 31st 1772.
