Folio 140: Walpole to Weymouth. Bernsdorff has informed his minister that the Danish fleet will remain in the Baltic. He refers to the declaration of war by Algiers and Denmark's relations with Turkey. Choiseul has told Chotinsky that Corsican ports are excluded from his offer to help Russian ships in distress. Galitzin has won a great victory over the Turks. Britain is known to have offered to mediate and France to have incited the Turks against Russia.
