Folio 93: Walpole to Weymouth. It is reported that the king is to take possession of all the ships, goods and effects of the Compagnie des Indes and take responsibility for the liquidation and payment of its debts. The shareholders will be compensated by adding totheir holdings. The marquis d'Escars has purchased from his brother-in-law the place of first steward to the king.
